Happy Days! Shadow loving life and showing off her magnificence!

How things can change...the day before this video I had had a very challenging day and decided to have a relax session with Shadow. When we got in view of the arena we saw the swarming bees and there was no way we could have a session. I was not happy! The next day the bees had moved on, the light was glorious and Shadow was happy to play. We were accompanied by Koda a young dog who spends a lot of time barking at Shadow when she is in the paddock. Shadow is very patient with Koda and tends to ignore him...not today! All was calm in the round pen I had given Shadow a groom and she was contemplating a roll, I got my phone out to photo her rolling in slow motion. The roll didn't happen Koda started barking at her and the games began!

At the start of the video you see Shadow flicking her neck from one side to the other this is her saying, in a friendly way, don't underestimate me Koda, I may tolerate your barking at me and running away but look at me I am bigger and more powerful than you. Koda, of cause, misreads this message and thinks game is on and barks more. Shadow caught up in the moment shows excitement, reflected by her tail held high, lifting her self off the ground, she is moving lots of energy. Shadows ability to move so gracefully in such a small arena shows how she is in control of her movements.

This video is just the beginning of the 5 minute game playing with Shadow and Koda. I was in the ring with Shadow she came very close but always respected my space. When it ended she came and stood next to me, it was an amazing moment and Im so pleased I caught it on video so I can share it!
