What is it about our horses that makes people of all ages want to come and learn from them?
Firstly let's be curious about horses; horses are prey animals therefore they are super sensitive to changes in their environment to enable them to detect predators quickly. They are flight animals who respond instantly when threatened, they run when they sense danger. Horses are highly social, herd animals and they work together with certain horses in the herd taking on specific roles.
What does any of this have to do with humans hanging out with horses, for all of the above horses require energy and awareness of what is happening around them. When horses are around humans they reflect the enrgey they receive from the human, therefore providing instant feedback. They reflect to us the shift needed to be in a coherent state of mind and will only connect and be in harmony with calm, fluid and present humans. They develop our awarenes of how we are feeling internally and the imapct the internal state has on those around us.
Unlike humans they do not dwell on how a human is presenting they respond immediately, this teaches humans to be awre of their inernal state and their body language.
